My Story
Welcome to Scentsy!! It all began with our assigned volunteer day in our sons classroom in 2011. We were greeted by the smell of fresh baked apple pie! While the children headed out to recess we searched but were unable to locate a pie, a cobbler, or any home baked tasty treat for that matter. Next week on our volunteer day we vowed to find the scent source if still there. We arrived to be greeted 7 days later by the same delicious aroma. Again, the children went to recess. Steve searched high, I searched low and after 30 minutes of superior detective work we were still at a loss as to where that amazing scent was coming from. We left bound and deteremined on our next visit to locate this amazing scent if still there. Now on our third week of volunteering frustrated and confused these two GREAT SCENT HUNTERS gave in and finally asked K.Nelles (our sons 1st grade teacher) how it is she keeps her room smelling so fresh and inviting with baked apples and cinnamon? She said with a smile, "Its Scentsy!" She shared with us her plug in and scentsy bar. We were amazed at the amazing scent that filled the classroom air for weeks while we have been searching (errr... I mean volunteering!) :-)
The very next day I walked into work and on a desk was a basket. I inquired as to what the basket was all about and to my surprise a co-worker was hosting a Scentsy Basket Party. Now what were the odds of searching 3 weeks for the source of an amazing scent to just find out what Scentsy was all about and then the very next day be afforded the luxury of sniffing all 80 scents? Now if that is not an act of God I am not quite sure how clearer the opportunity could be. After I spent my entire hour lunch break sniffing scents I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt this was something I was passionate about, I loved, and I knew my friends and family would love it too! I emailed Steve to tell him he'd never believe what I did on my lunch break. When I shared my experience of smelling the scents he detected my enthusiasm for the Scentsy Product and it became contagious. Entering on a team effort we were driven to pursue the Scentsy Consultant opportunity.

We witnessed first hand the calming,nurturing,and enriching effects the scent had as the students returned from recess to their learning environment. Absolutely Amazing! We are confident these scents will enrich everyones lives and are proud to stand behind such a superior product line.
A bit about me: I am East Coast born and raised and relocated to WA while serving in the US ARMY BAND. I have been afforded many awesome opportunities to travel and entertain. Music and Performance are a passion of mine. I am a wife, a momma and a grandma. We have two sons, ages 21 and 16, two grown step daughters and 7 grandchildren! We reside on Camano Island and love the water! My family and friends support us on our Scentsy Journey. I look forward to the many friends we will make along the way! Blessings......
